Excel: Solve Hard Problems in Corporate Finance

<p>This course will be an overview of:</p> <ul> <li>Using sample work order data, examine different ways to identify specific transactions, how to manipulate text fields, and how to use conditional highlighting to flag selected information.</li> <li>Using sample insurance policy information, review the benefits provided by using Table functionality in Excel, how to utilize UNIQUE to identify unique items within a list, sorting tools in the Table along with the SORT function, and leveraging SUMIFS to selectively summarize information within a larger set of data.</li> <li>Using baseball statistics as an example, look at how to identify performance for a team. Use XLOOKUP to pull data for selected players and then summarize that information. Also review text functions and how SUMPRODUCT can be useful to compute a weighted average.</li> <li>Review the buildout of a pro forma income statement utilizing a freely available template.</li> </ul>
