Every employee is a bystander at some point. In this immersive 1-hour Bystander Intervention course you will follow a group of colleagues attending a two-day conference for work. Through decision-driven scenarios drawn from realistic everyday gray areas, you will experience situations from multiple perspectives, learn what bystander intervention is and actively practice how to step in, support others, and reduce harm. This course meets the City of Chicago’s one-hour Bystander Intervention training requirement.
